Minutes That Matter: Free Calling Cards for Deployed Military
About Minutes That Matter
Since 2004, our Minutes That Matter program has had a simple mission: to help deployed troops stay connected by providing free calling cards for military personnel, ensuring they can call home at no charge and stay in touch with their families and loved ones.
This initiative has provided over 400 million minutes of airtime and 5 million calling cards, bridging the communication gap for service members and offering invaluable support to those serving away from home. By offering a simple yet powerful way for troops to hear the voices of those they care about, Minutes That Matter plays a crucial role in boosting morale and maintaining vital personal connections during deployment.

“Hey Ma’am, I just wanted to shoot you an email and let you know that I appreciate everything you do for us veterans. I just gave Mr. West his phone and I set it up for him, he was ecstatic to have a phone again. So I know it may not seem like much, but that made his day and I wanted to share that moment with you.”
R.J
“Today I was surprised with the arrival of my cell phone. I wish to express my deepest gratitude for what you have brought into my life. Thank you so much, there are no words to say how I’m feeling at this moment. I appreciate the time and consideration given to me.”
