Erin Voorhees was one of our first dedicated supporters. Regretfully we share the loss of Erin this October 2009, but in her passing she is still supporting Cell Phones for Soldiers. She has asked her family and friends to donate to Cell Phones for Soldiers in lieu of flowers. We are grateful for the support of the Voorhees family and friends of Erin. Our hearts are with you in your time of sorrow.
If you would like to make a donation in Erin's memory, please make checks payable to Cell Phones for Soldiers and mail directly to the Bergquist family as we would like to acknowledge your donation:

Vote for Don Williamson for Army’s Operation Rising Star
www.oprisingstar.com
Brittany and Robbie’s cousin, Don Williamson, inspired them to begin CPFS back in 2004. Don was headed for Iraq at the time and has also spent time in Afghanistan. He has been chosen as 1 of 12 semifinalists in the Army's Operation Rising Star sponsored by MWR.
Contestants try out at their home army post. Don sang a Steven Curtis Chapman's song of "Cinderella". He won this contest and then was asked to submit an A Capella video. The Army's MWR is flying Don and the 11 other semifinalists to Washington, DC to compete for the final title of Operation Rising Star. The public is invited to vote for their choice after each concert which will appear on the website www.pentagonchannel.mil . Those dates are November 15-21st and they can watch the concerts online on the Pentagon Channel.
To view the candidates and hear their videos you can visit www.oprisingstar.com. Don is in the 3rd row. Simply click on his name and you can hear the song he sang a capella and watch his video. Just below this one is the other instrumental video in which he sang "Cinderella".
We know that Don would welcome your vote in the Army's version of American Idol.
