Westshore Wireless Grand Opening Offers Free Phone Calls to Soldiers
In addition to the free phone calls to soldiers, Westshore Wireless is proud to be a used cell phone collection point for the national “Cell Phones for Soldiers” program. Cell Phones for Soldiers is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization that buys pre-paid calling cards to send to service people serving overseas. Started in April of 2004, Cell Phones for Soldiers has raised close to one million dollars and has sent more than 75,000 pre-paid calling cards to our service people. As seen on CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox, and in multiple publications, Cell Phones for Soldiers has received recognition from all branches of the service and the oval office.
The official “wiring cutting” to open the store will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The North Ridgeville Middle School Cheerleaders will participate in the wire cutting and be conducting a car wash in the parking lot. Other activities include a Monster Truck Bounce House for children, food, and prizes.
In addition, Westshore Wireless will offer special prices on accessories, free activations on T-Mobile contracts, Verizon specials, and drawings for prizes. Grand opening specials will continue throughout the month of June. Members and families of the military are welcome to participate.
