We would love to have your business, school, group or organization become a drop-off point for Cell Phones For Soldiers.

Getting Started

To set up an offical drop-off point for Cell Phones for Soldiers, please fill out the form below.

We ask that you have a location that the public can go to during normal business hours to drop off their cell phones. For materials to assist your collection efforts, please scroll down for more information.

Collection Box

You can place any type of box or bin at your location.  We do not have an official drop box, but if you are creative, you can decorate it with patriotic colors or flags, etc.

Feel free to use this or any similar sign you would like to make to let people know that you are a drop-off point. We will do anything we can to assist you, but we rely on our drop-off points to generate as much local interest as possible. 

Press Release

Please download the drop-off press release, which you can use to send to local television, radio and newspaper outlets.  We find that locations that get some type of local exposure in the media do much better than those that are solely listed on our website.  Please be sure to include your drop-off point information in your press release and then print it. 

 

If you do not have any contacts in the media, e-mail us (bob@cellphonesforsoldiers.com) and we will send one out for you. Please include the name and fax number of the newspapers in your area (on the front or second page of the newspaper) as well as the call letters (i.e. WXYZ) and fax numbers for the broadcast media in your area.

Donation Receipts

It is up to the donor to declare the value of their donation. If you have made a donation to Cell Phones for Soldiers, please download and print off a donation receipt to keep for your records.

 

Feel free to make copies and hand them out to anyone that makes a donation to Cell Phones for Soldiers!

Shipping Your Phones

It's simple and FREE! Every phone you donate will help increase the amount of talk time we're able to provide to our troops!

• Help the troops even more by paying the postage.
• Put the cell phone(s) in the smallest, lightest package possible.
• Affix the postage-paid shipping label to the envelope, bag or box.
• Drop the package in the mail.

Other Donations

Any checks made out to "Cell Phones for Soldiers", cash or prepaid calling cards should be sent directly to:  South Shore Savings Bank, 400 Washington Street, Norwell, MA  02061. Please do not include these with the phone shipment.  All phones go directly to the recycler.

Pictures

We welcome any digital photo or print that you may want to take of your drop-off location.  We will scan all prints of pictures and post all digital pictures on our website.  You can attach digital photographs to an e-mail or you can send them to us on a disk or CD to Cell Phones for Soldiers, 243 Winter Street, Norwell, MA  02061. Take a picture of your location with all of the staff out in front!
